Common Questions

We hear similar questions from most new patients. Here’s what to know before your first visit or free phone consult.

Do you accept insurance?

Continua Physio is cash-based, which means we don’t bill insurance directly. We can provide a superbill for potential out-of-network reimbursement — we recommend checking your plan. This model allows us to keep every session fully one-on-one and focused on your needs, not on what insurance will cover.

What makes this different from regular PT?

Traditional PT often means short sessions, multiple patients at once, and a plan built around what insurance allows. At Continua Physio, every session is one-on-one, hands-on, and built around your goals and your sport. We address the root cause — then build the capacity you need to stay there long-term.

Can I use my HSA or FSA?

Yes — we accept HSA and FSA payments. These accounts can typically be used for physical therapy services, which makes cash-based care more accessible. If you have questions about your specific plan, we recommend checking with your plan administrator before your first visit to confirm coverage details.

How do I get started?

The best first step is a free phone consult. It’s a short call where we learn about what you’re dealing with, answer your questions, and confirm whether we’re the right fit. From there, we’ll schedule your initial evaluation — a thorough, one-on-one session to assess the root cause and build your plan.

Do I need PT before starting performance training?

It depends on where you are in your recovery. Some people come to us for physical therapy and then move into performance training as they build capacity. Others are ready for performance work from the start. We’ll assess your situation during the initial evaluation and build a plan that meets you where you are — and takes you where you want to go.
